Clinical Audiologist
Dr. Sattarin earned her Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Kansas Medical Center. She earned her undergrad and master’s degree in Linguistic and Communication Sciences from the University of Tehran. Her interest in hearing classes at the University and her passion for helping people led her to pursue Audiology. She completed most of her rotations and her residency in Ear, Nose, and Throat clinics, where she received extensive training in both adult and pediatric audiology.
Working as a clinical audiologist, Shirin gained experience with diagnostic audiology and rehabilitation, tinnitus management, vestibular assessment, and hearing instrument fitting. She is experienced with most hearing aid manufacturers and styles. She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
Shirin received the Sertoma Hearing Aid Project Grant in 2019 and had the opportunity to provide hearing aids to low-income individuals with hearing impairment. She also received a Deserving Health Professions Students scholarship in 2020. Shirin is dedicated to providing exceptional hearing healthcare services, including comprehensive audiological evaluations, personalized hearing solutions, and ongoing support to her patients. She is passionate about improving the lives of those with hearing impairment and ensuring her patients receive the highest level of care.
Shirin loves spending time with her husband and son. She enjoys traveling, fine coffee, reading, watching TV shows, trying new restaurants, interior design, and playing volleyball.
